1. The service

mdtohtml.app ("the Service") is a free, browser-based tool that converts Markdown into HTML documents and share links. The Service is provided by mdtohtml ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. Free use

The core features of the Service — conversion, themes, downloads and instant share links — are free of charge for personal and commercial use, without registration. We may introduce optional paid features ("Pro") governed by additional terms presented at purchase.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you convert. Because conversion happens in your browser, we never receive your documents. You are solely responsible for the content of pages you create and the links you share, and for ensuring you have the rights to that content.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, malicious (including malware or phishing), or that impersonates others. We may block share links that are reported for abuse.

5. Share links

Free instant links encode your document inside the URL itself; anyone who obtains the link can read the document. Treat share links for sensitive content accordingly. We cannot delete a free link "from the internet" — it lives wherever it has been copied.

6. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that converted output will be suitable for any specific use.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

8. Changes

We may update the Service or these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
